Thursday started with our normal cereal and toast breakfast for us and 100cc's of formula for Mr. Takahiro. Then right after lunch we took the short walk behind tokyo tower to the doctor's office for Taka's first of two check ups.
This is the office building where the doctor's office is located. It's an office that caters to English speaker and those with Visas.
Here is Mindy and Takahiro in the waiting room.
First was check-in with the nurse. Taka was such a good boy while she measured his head and body.
Then, we saw the older British doctor for more full check-up. Taka's weight was up to 4.9 kilos and his length to 53cm. Thats 10 1/2 lbs and almost 21 inches!
After the visit, we celebrated with japanese crepes. Delicious!
Here is a sampling of what you can get. I got Strawberry Cheesecake and Mindy had Strawberries and chocolate sauce. After we got home, we all chilled out while we waited for the call to get our paper work from the doctor. Here is Taka chilled out on my lap...too cute!
We got the call and I went back to get the paper work while Mindy got Taka ready for our next outing. We headed to Shinjuku and to the Times Square building for shopping at Tokyu Hands and Takashimya. Here is Mindy and Taka on the bridge crossing over the train tracks. This is Mindy's old stomping ground so we love visiting Shinjuku.
While out, we got a simple italian meal and some wine while Taka chilled out.
Finally back to the busiest train station in the world, the Shinjuku station and back home.
